You probably have a few questions about your dental care that you’d like answers for. Many of our patients do, so we’ve put together a list of commonly asked Ozark dental questions as a reference. We hope your answer is here, but if it isn’t, give us a call today at (417) 581-3600 or schedule an appointment, and we’ll be glad to help.

We sure do! In fact, we offer a couple of innovative dental appliances. You can choose between Invisalign or Six Month Smiles, two faster treatment options than traditional braces. Along with having a straight smile sooner, anywhere from six months to a year depending on which treatment is best for you, both orthodontic solutions are less conspicuous than metal brackets and wires. Clear aligners are nearly invisible, and Six Month Smiles rely on brackets and wires that are color-matched to blend in with the natural color of your teeth. Find out which of our short-term orthodontics will give you the straight, beautiful smile you want! Call Excel Dental at (417) 581-3600 to learn more or to schedule a consultation.
The general rule of thumb is to schedule a dental cleaning and exam about every six months. This will help prevent the build up of harmful plaque and tartar on your teeth. If you’re on a gum disease treatment plan, however, we may suggest seeing you more often until the infection is under control.
In fact, we offer two different types of dental sedation, laughing gas or oral medication, so you can choose the best method to feel more relaxed during your appointments. To learn more about how we can ease your dental anxiety, call Excel Dental at (417) 581-3600.
We don’t recommend store-bought teeth whitening products because they aren’t strong enough or customized to give you the dramatic results you’re looking for. Our teeth whitening options are powerful enough to deliver dramatic results and can be completely customized for even coverage and optimum safety. To find out which of our whitening systems is right for you, schedule an appointment with us!
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that we can insert in your jawbone where you have missing teeth. After a period of healing, your new implants will support replacement teeth to make eating, smiling, and talking much easier. Your restoration options may include crowns, bridges, dentures, and full arches of fixed teeth. Depending on the condition of your mouth, we can use one or more of these restorations to give you back your smile.
Our cosmetic dentistry services can give you a more beautiful smile that you’ll enjoy showing off to everyone! Depending on your needs, your choices may include teeth whitening, dental veneers, orthodontics, gum reshaping, dental bonding, and even gum recession treatment. We will sit down with you to develop a treatment plan for creating your new smile. If needed, we can even design a custom smile makeover that combines several of our aesthetic dentistry services. Many of our patients who were once dissatisfied with their smiles have ended up loving their new look after their cosmetic treatment. We can help you, too!
Modern dentures have come a long way from the “false teeth” you might remember from childhood. They perform better than ever these days! Your dentures options could include conventional dentures for replacing either a full arch or a partial arch of teeth. Either style will remove easily for care and cleaning. We can also pair dentures with dental implants for a more secure and stable fit. Implant-retained and implant-supported dentures attach to implants and won’t slip, click, or move out of place. Hybrid dentures use a minimal number of implants to secure a complete arch of fixed teeth. At your consultation, we’ll help you decide which type of dentures will work best for you. We hope we’ve answered your Ozark dental questions. If you have other questions or if you’d like to make an appointment, call us today at (417) 581-3600.
