At Excel Dental, we love taking care of our patients’ smiles. Our team gets genuine satisfaction and joy when we see a patient leave our office in a better condition than when they arrived. We also enjoy keeping our patients informed and educated. Our new Ozark dental blog is designed to give you smile tips, dental news, and related information to help you maintain the best, most beautiful smile possible. If you have any questions or if you’d like to make an appointment, call us at 417-233-4280.
For this first edition of our blog, we want to highlight a few key ways that we stand apart from the rest of the dental practices out there. Enjoy!
We Offer You Two Great Sedation Options
Many of our patients really just don’t like going to the dentist – and that’s fine. We understand that, so we give you a choice of sedation methods to help you relax and get the beneficial dental care you need. Plus, we’ll take all the time needed so you feel comfortable and at ease.
For mild dental fear, we offer inhaled sedation using laughing gas. The sedative will give you an all-over feeling of relaxation and may even make you a little giddy. For many patients, this is all the sedative they need.
However, if you’re more anxious about your visit, your dentist can prescribe an oral sedative in pill form that you’ll take ahead of time. By the time your appointment begins, you’ll feel completely relaxed and perhaps groggy. You may not even remember much about your visit with us.
We Employ Leading-Edge Dental Technology
Drs. Davis and Matthews have invested in some of the latest dental technology so that your care is as accurate and comfortable as possible. Digital X-rays give us detailed images while exposing you to a fraction of the radiation of traditional X-rays. We also use 3-D imaging to plan many of our treatments, and we use computer-guided procedures for dental implant placement.
During your checkups, we use the DIAGNOdent cavity detection system to catch tiny amounts of tooth decay invisible to the naked eye. Plus, digital impressions are used to create a “mold” of your mouth, letting you avoid the goopy mess that traditional impressions often make when planning a dental restoration. We even use digital mock-ups to show you a preview of your new smile before you begin Invisalign treatment.
We Always Run on Time
We understand that our patients’ time is just as valuable as ours is. We also appreciate that you’ve taken time out of your day to visit our dental practice. That’s why we won’t keep you waiting. You probably have a lot of other things you need to get done in your day, and going to the dentist is just one of them.
We work hard to get every patient in on time and eliminate any unnecessary wait time. You can expect to get in and out as efficiently as possible so you can continue with the rest of your day. That’s us respecting your valuable time in return for trusting us with your smile care.
We hope you’ve enjoyed reading our new Ozark dental blog. Call us today at 417-233-4280 to schedule your next appointment or to ask any questions about your dental care!
